Saved Parameters is an update to the Saved Params add-on for sqlReports that was created by Matt Freund.  This newer version acts similar to the original in that it will save the sqlReports parameter information a user enters on a per-report, per-school basis.  When the user first runs a report at a school, any user parameters are blanked out:

SPFirstTimeReportRuns

When the user runs the report again, the parameters are populated based on what was entered the last time the user ran the report at the school, and information appears at the bottom of the page giving the last date and time the report ran and the parameters that were used:

SPSecondTimeReportRuns

Here are some other features:

  • A link appears at the bottom of the page that the user can click on to see a history of when they ran the report - last 10 results maximum - along with the date, time, and any parameters.
  • sqlReports editors can exclude a report from being used with Saved Parameters.  The report runs like normal but there's no record of it saved to the Saved Parameters table.
  • Saved Parameters is available for both the admin and teacher portal.
