Important Change to Subscription Sales
The sale of new Site Subscriptions (formerly known as sqlReports Subscription) to the FreundResources.net web site will end on December 31, 2025. Starting on January 1, 2026, the only sales that will take place will be the selling of subscription renewals to those with either a current subscription or an expired subscription.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will there still be a free version of sqlReports for those without a subscription?
Yes. Just like now, there will continue to be a free version of sqlReports for download. The only change will be that those who have never had a subscription as of January 1, 2026, will not be able to purchase a subscription to have the premium version or the other parts that come with a subscription.
Why make the announcement now in March?
The announcement is being made now so that any customers interested in purchasing the subscription have time to either use funds from their current budget year or to budget for the funds for the next budget year. Pricing for the subscription can be found here.
I received a quote for a new subscription in December 2025 - will it still be good in January 2026?
No. Any quotes issued in December 2025 for a new subscription will have a December 31, 2025, expiration date and those quotes will not be honored after that date.
What effect will this have on those with current or expired subscriptions?
None. Customers with either an active Site Subscription or an expired one will still be able to renew their subscription just like they do now.
WIll customers with consortium pricing be able to add new schools when they renew?
Yes. Consortiums will be able to add new schools when doing renewals.
Will sqlReports and other plugins and reports on this site still be updated and supported?
Yes. Nothing will change as far as updates and support.
Does this mean the FreundResources.net is shutting down in the near future?
No. There are no plans to shut down the site.
